Experience Hakuba’s first Finnish-style sauna, designed for gentle, full-body warmth through high humidity and self-löyly steam, created by pouring water over hot stones to generate heat. Afterward, cool down in a unique water bath set inside a giant 1.7-meter-wide soy sauce barrel, passed down from a Meiji-era brewery and filled with natural snowmelt from the Northern Alps.
The mineral-rich, slightly alkaline water is known for its soft texture and skin-friendly properties. Guests can enjoy flexible sauna temperatures, open-air rest, and even a bonfire between sessions—all while taking in the stunning views of Hakuba’s natural beauty.
